Join Central Oklahoma Ballet for its annual fundraising variety show on Friday, Oct. 25, starting at 7 p.m. at the Dale Robertson Center in Yukon, Okla. Community members will perform unique skits, songs, and dances to raise money for the upcoming production of "The Nutcracker." The evening will showcase talent, good food, and fantastic silent auction items.
Experience the wonder
The Central Oklahoma Ballet's The Nutcracker will prove to be an enchanting performance of the timeless classic story of Christmas wonder.
As with every season, this year’s production will feature professional guest artists, world-class dancers, magical theatrics, and beautiful costumes. Local dancers from Yukon, Mustang, Piedmont, and El Reno will have the opportunity to perform alongside seasoned professional artists and further the Central Oklahoma Ballet mission.
The Nutcracker
Follow Clara on her magical journey to the Land of the Sweets when the Central Oklahoma Ballet Company presents the Christmas classic, The Nutcracker. The production features professional guest artists along with local members of the community accompanied by the Oklahoma Community Orchestra conducted by Irvin Wagner. This year’s performance features members from the Colorado Ballet and Oklahoma City Ballet. Audiences of all ages will enjoy the exquisite performance, complete with rich costumes and colorful scenery set to the beautiful score composed by Tchaikovsky.

The Nutcracker performances are at the Yukon Fine Arts Center, located at 850 Yukon Avenue, Yukon, Oklahoma 73099.

The tradition continued growing for the fourth year running, the performance included live orchestral music by the artists of the Oklahoma Community Orchestra, conducted by Dr. Irvin Wagner. The notable Tchaikovsky score comes to life with the Oklahoma Community Orchestra.
Oklahoma Community Orchestra
The Oklahoma Community Orchestra is comprised of 76 professional and amateur musicians from the greater Oklahoma City metro area who volunteer their time and talents for the sheer joy of music and performing it. For more information about this organization, visit www.okorchestra.org
